Last chance to get Crabby!!

Tomorrow (Friday) is your last chance to get tickets to the Crab Feast.   We cannot and will not sell tickets on the day of the feast.  Remember it’s $40 for all-you-can-eat crabs,  $25 without the crabs.  Bring a check made out to “Glenwood Recreation Club”  to the lifeguard’s office anytime before closing on Friday.

To whet your appetite, I’m told that this year the crabs will actually be cooked on-site.  Piping hot, fresh from the cooker to your plate.  Yummers!  (And don’t worry, despite rumors, they will not be stored in the baby pool before cooking; although if one or two escape into the diving well, I’m sure we’ll have some 9-10 year olds willing to go deep diving).

In addition to crabs and chicken, there will also be steamed spiced shrimp, scrumptious side salads and veggies, all-you-can-drink soda and water, and delicious desserts.

You don’t want to miss it!

Oh, and as added incentive, this year will feature the First Annual Cornhole Tournament!  (Now I don’t know what that is, but I did watch Beavis and Butthead a couple of times… eh, I don’t want to speculate.)

See you there!

P.S.  THANK YOU to those of you who volunteered to help out.  We only need a couple more helpers, and something as simple as picking up coffee on the way to the feast could win you a free ticket!  All volunteers will be entered into a raffle for a free ticket, so don’t miss your chance.
