Memorial Day weekend is coming up, and you know what that means… THE POOL OPENS! We can’t wait to see you! A special board committee has been consulting the weather oracles and received assurances that the temperatures are on the upswing.  And you have paid your membership dues for this year, right?

The Short Version
Monday, May 23: Begin Online registration for ALL Dive Team members and RETURNING Swim Team members.
Friday, May 27, 6 PM: “Soft Open” — Grill and Socialize
Saturday, May 28, 10 AM: Pool Opens. Pool Hours here.
Tuesday, May 31, 5-7 PM: Screening for First-time swim team & pre-team members.
Wednesday, June 1: Afternoon practice begins for Swim & Dive Teams

The Detailed Version
Head to the Big G on Friday evening at 6:00 PM for our “soft open” — no swimming, but the grills are ready and the weather looks like it will cooperate. Pool opens on Saturday at 10:00 AM. You’ll find info about pool hours throughout the summer on the website.

Thinking about swim and/or dive team for your kids? Glenwood Tiger Swim & Dive Teams are terrific summer traditions for generations of families and welcome new members to join in the fun. Each has its own site for information about the teams, coaches, practices and schedules — go HERE for swim team, and HERE for dive team. Online registration has opened for returning Tiger swimmers; all divers, new and returning, can register online as well. First-time members of the swim team and pre-team must be screened prior to registration, and that begins next Tuesday, May 31, 5-7 PM.
