Glenwood is hiring! We are seeking a dedicated Pool Manager to lead a team of assistant managers, operators, and lifeguards, ensuring we maintain our high standards in safety and service. Key responsibilities include hiring and training staff, overseeing daily operations, maintaining pool facilities, and upholding safety protocols. The position offers a competitive rate of $23-$25 per hour, with consideration for prior experience.

Glenwood is a self-sufficient community. The Glenwood Board has always strived to hire our own pool managers, operators, and lifeguards — despite the extra effort it takes to do that. This allows us to provide jobs to qualified Glenwood members, and we think it is one of the things that makes our community special.

We routinely have many young pool members interested in joining the lifeguard staff. With a limited number of positions, however, we are unable to accommodate the high demand. To keep the staff at a manageable size and operating at the highest level of efficiency and professionalism, we hire through an application process.

Each winter, all new and returning guards MUST submit an application by March 31 to be considered for a position on that summer’s guard staff.
